Need Kollyva?
Very often it comes time for a Memorial Service, and the family runs scrambling to try to find someone who can make the Kollyva (tray of boiled wheat). There is no need to go outside of the parish. If you need Kollyva, please see Presbytera, who has been making the Kollyva for years. The donation for the tray is $100; the money, after expenses, is normally donated to St. Basil’s Kitchen or the Church.
Stewardship
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church depends mainly on stewardship contributions to meet its annual budgetary commitments. Stewardship contributions should represent a FAIR SHARE commitment by each family or single person. Such a commitment is a pledge to support Christ’s Church and His ministry by giving our fair share. The term “fair share” means contributing the fair portion of our income in order to support the ongoing ministry of the Church.

Donations
All parishioners are reminded that Annunciation Church welcomes your donations, large or small. Please consider making a donation “in Honor of” special occasions such as a marriage, anniversary, baptism, promotion or other special event to recognize a family member, friend or co-worker. Donations “in Memory of” may be made to commemorate the passing or anniversary of a special family member or friend. You are welcome to specify in an obituary that memorial donations may be made to our beloved Church. Donations will be recognized each month in The Beacon. If you wish your donation to be recognized as “anonymous”, please be sure to specify that.
